Dover Concrete Company was founded in 2022 by a crew of concrete workers who grew up in Kent County and wanted to build something local, honest, and lasting. We started with residential driveways and sidewalks in Dover and expanded to patios, foundations, retaining walls, and commercial flatwork as word spread through the neighborhoods around The Green and out into the newer subdivisions off Route 8.
Dover is our home city. We know the older brick homes near downtown, the ranch-style houses built in the 1960s and 1970s, and the newer colonials going up on the city's edges. We know how Delaware's freeze-thaw winters stress a poorly prepared slab, and we know that the clay-heavy soils in this part of the state demand real base preparation, not shortcuts.
